UCP Easter Seals Heartland UCP of Greater St. Louis and Easter Seals Missouri are excited to announce some changes that will strengthen our ability to provide services to people with disabilities. Effective October 1, 2008 our two organizations came together under the name of UCP Easter Seals Heartland. Under this newly formed organization, there will be no significant changes to any of our existing programs and services. Current program staff will not be impacted. In fact, there will be little or no changes to the services previously provided by the two separate organizations. We expect the implementation and transition to be very smooth. Once our two organizations are fully integrated, we should be well positioned to be even more responsive to the ongoing needs of the people we support and the staff we employ. Together we will be able to get the most out of the precious resources that are entrusted to support our services. As we embark on this wonderful new opportunity, we are taking the strengths of both organizations and combining them to make an even stronger team that is able to provide services to more individuals. We are confident our newly formed organization will be better positioned to adjust to any future challenges and community needs. Together, we will be better positioned to provide programs and services that meet the needs of those we serve. Mission StatementUCP Easter Seals Heartland's mission is to provide the highest quality of programs, services and supports while advancing the independence, productivity and full citizenship of individuals with disabilities.
